Based out of the beautiful Roaring Fork Valley in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Kyle's life is defined by music. Like the rivers carve this rugged landscape, music has shaped Kyle's life.

Kyle began playing piano at the age of four and quickly progressed into making his own music. He won multiple statewide awards for his compositions and composed for his school's bands and choirs on top of solo piano.

After earning his degree in music education, he moved to the mountains to be closer to his other passions of mountaineering and skiing. There he has become a strong advocate for music, being involved in numerous non profits and serving on city culture boards, and music education, partnering with Jazz Aspen Snowmass and the Aspen Music Festival and School regularly to strengthen music education in the local schools. He has been Musical Director for numerous theater companies, churches, and schools, and he teaches piano in his private piano studio.

Kyle's connection with the piano brings music to life in a unique way. He is able to create intricate textures that add incredible depth and emotion to his performances. He is exceptionally good at covering music for the piano and plays regularly for private events, cocktail/dinner parties, and even piano bars showcasing his broad range. 

His compositions reflect his life in music and have grown with him while still capturing his signature style. He jokes that he has a constant soundtrack to his life with different themes and ideas that evolve over time into different stand alone pieces. Sometimes he'll play with an idea for months trying to get it to communicate what he wants, and other times a piece will flow out and finish in a week. He hopes that his music leaves space for his listeners to connect with their own lives.
